- ARops and SecuRecon web-based portals, dashboards, and related SaaS services;
- mobile applications, if applicable;
- SecuReport Membership signup, administration, and member communications;
- ordering, production, and delivery of Recon Reports and related deliverables;
- websites that link to or post this Privacy Policy, including arops.ai and related domains or subdomains;
- contact forms, demo requests, intake forms, report order forms, and other communications with us.
This policy does not apply to data controlled by a client or customer where Alpha Recon acts only as a service provider or processor on behalf of that client. In those cases, the client’s own privacy policy and instructions may apply.

By using our websites, platforms, reports, forms, or related services, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy and agree that your Personal Data may be processed as described here.
This policy may form part of the terms that govern your use of our services, including Terms of Use, purchase terms, report terms, master services agreements, order forms, statements of work, or other written agreements that reference this policy.
4. Personal Data We Collect
We may collect and process information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual. This may include the following categories of Personal Data:
Identity Data
Name, username, account profile information, organization, title, role, photo or avatar, and other identifying information you provide through registration, purchase, intake, or account forms.

IP address, browser type, device identifiers, operating system, session activity, navigation history, log data, cookie identifiers, and other information generated through use of websites, platforms, applications, and related services.

User Content
Information you submit through forms, messages, alerts, free-text fields, uploads, report intake materials, support requests, or other unstructured formats.

Information related to purchases, memberships, invoices, order forms, report orders, service requests, payments, and client account activity.

We do not intentionally collect special category or sensitive personal data unless it is explicitly provided by a user, client, or authorized party in connection with an alert, incident, safety-related event, report request, or other permitted service purpose. Any such data is processed only to the extent permitted by law.
Children’s Data
Our services are generally not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children under the age of 16, or a lower age where applicable law requires, without appropriate consent. If we work with a client whose users may include minors, we process such data according to client instructions and applicable laws relating to minors, schools, and parental consent.
5. How We Use Personal Data
We use Personal Data to provide, operate, improve, secure, and administer our services. This may include:
- creating and managing user accounts;
- providing access to ARops, SecuRecon, dashboards, reports, and related services;
- processing report orders, memberships, forms, and client requests;
- creating and delivering risk reports, alerts, summaries, evidence packs, and related deliverables;
- communicating with clients, users, members, and prospective customers;
- providing support, onboarding, training, or service updates;
- monitoring platform performance, availability, and security;
- improving our products, services, workflows, and user experience;
- sending operational, membership, report-related, and marketing communications where permitted;
- complying with legal obligations, enforcing agreements, and protecting rights, safety, and security.
6. Platform, Dashboard, and Reporting Data
When we provide services to a client organization, we may process Personal Data from users associated with that client. This may include account information, contact information, device data, location data, user-submitted information, alerts, and other data made available through the platform or authorized workflows.
We process this information to provide the services requested by the client, including risk reporting, alerting, dashboard functionality, account administration, and operational decision support.
Where a client controls the collection or use of Personal Data, users should contact the client directly regarding privacy rights or client-controlled data. We will assist the client as appropriate and as required by applicable law.
7. Mobile Application and Location Data
If you use a mobile application associated with our services, we may process Personal Data through that application, including Identity Data, Contact Data, Device Data, User Content, and Location Data.
Location Data may be collected actively, such as when a user submits an alert, or passively, such as during a client-authorized monitoring period. We do not engage in covert tracking or surveillance of users.
Users may be able to control or limit Location Data collection through device settings, application permissions, or client-defined service settings. Limiting Location Data may affect some features or services.
8. Risk Reporting and Intelligence Data
We may collect, aggregate, analyze, transform, or anonymize information in order to identify security, travel, operational, digital, and other client-defined risks, events, indicators, or trends.
Risk reporting may include information from client-provided context, user-submitted information, publicly available sources, licensed third-party data providers, and analytical workflows. Reports may include synthesis, aggregation, and analysis of source data, including automated or assisted analytical methods.
Where possible, risk data is aggregated or de-identified so that it does not contain Personal Data. In some cases, risk intelligence may correlate with public reporting, third-party reporting, or client-provided information that includes identifiable information.
9. Data Sources
Alpha Recon derives information used in its services from client-provided data, user-submitted information, publicly available sources, licensed third-party data providers, and authorized service workflows.
We do not collect data through covert surveillance, deceptive means, unauthorized access, or unlawful methods.
10. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We and certain third parties may use cookies, pixels, tags, analytics tools, and similar technologies when you interact with our websites, platforms, and communications.
These technologies may be used for:
- Essential and functional purposes: enabling site functionality, login sessions, security features, and service performance;
- Analytics: understanding how users interact with our websites, content, forms, and services;

If you enroll in SecuReport Membership or request ARops materials, we may send operational updates, intelligence-related communications, report notices, membership communications, and related service information.

Clients and Customers
Where we process data on behalf of a client, we may share relevant user data, alerts, location data, report information, or dashboard data with that client according to the applicable agreement and service purpose.

14. California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act.
The categories of Personal Data we process may include identifiers, commercial information, internet or network activity, geolocation data, professional or employment-related information, and sensitive personal information where provided and permitted by law.
California residents may request access, deletion, correction, portability, and information about certain disclosures, subject to applicable limitations and verification requirements.
Alpha Recon does not sell Personal Data. If any future activity constitutes a “sale” or “sharing” under California law, we will provide appropriate notices and opt-out mechanisms.

Alpha Recon operates in the United States and uses service providers that may be located in the United States or other jurisdictions. If you are located outside the United States, your Personal Data may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other jurisdictions that may not provide the same level of data protection as your home country.
